Polymnia Katsoni
(Université Aristote de Thessalonique, KBE professeure invitée à l’EHESS)
Polymnia Katsoni est professeure d’histoire byzantine de l’université Aristote de Thessalonique, et présidente du Centre de Recherches Byzantines de la même Université. Elle s’occupe notamment d’histoire socio-économique et politique de l’Empire byzantin au XIVe siècle. L’un des fruits de ses recherches est le Dictionnaire de terminologie économique et technique des institutions dans l’Empire byzantin, d’importance capitale pour la compréhension des rapports entre société et économie à Byzance.
